Drawing Flowers In Illustrator

There are videos on the web that they use and how to draw graphics that move and are videos. I'm not sure it is explained very well. As was done in illustrator, but turned into videos. They have movement. As an artist when you see a flower delivery and moves and grows. What videos are called and how I can learn to do that.
One program is Adobe Flash. There is a big learning curve, but once you find the program you can do some incredible things!
