How to draw pictures from scratch?

I would like to learn how to draw pictures from scratch and I was just wondering if there are any websites that might help me with this. I am interested in how to draw flowers, etc.

Simple, but it takes allot of practise. Break any object into simple geometrical shapes and slowly make the picture more refined and detailed. With a flower for ex. start by drawing a circle or an oval with smaller circles inside and so on
